Happy Labor Day everyone!
Almost to 50 followers! Very excited, plus I'm having a giveaway :)
Today I want to talk about basic cleaning and moistuerzing your face.
DRY - For cleaning you want a mild, soap free at night and in the mornings just rinse with warm water. For moisturizing you want to look for hydrators like glycerin or silicone.
NORMAL - Wash face morning and night with a gentle soap free formula. You will need lightweight lotions that contain noncomedogenic.
OILY - Cleaning you need a potent cleaner with salicylic or alpha-hydroxy. They get rid of dead skin. Moisturizer look for one with humectant in it.
COMBINATION - You need a oil free foaming clean with salicylic acid. Use a humectant lotion to moistuize.
Thanks for the tips!! Cleansing your face is soooo important! I use the Clarisonic Mia & love it!! :)

Hey girl. I'm loving you're blog! Thanks for the tips. I'm now a follower ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not gonna lie, I am such a bum when it comes to cleaning my face. It feels like such a chore!
ReplyDeleteI have cystic acne, and my dermatologist recommended Dove Sensitive Skin Body wash to use all over, including my face. Honestly, it's the best thing I've used so far. (and I've tried ProActiv in the past.) So if any of you are having sensitive skin issues, you might want to check it out. Keep up the good work girl! Love the blog layout too.

Great tip! I love Doves body washes as well :-)
ReplyDeleteI find that I need to change up my face washes every few weeks or so, because my skin gets used to the product and it stops working effectively.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me! And I love your blog already! :)
